5 months!

Jack at 5 months you:

~wear a size 2 diaper, 6-12 month clothes, and 9 month sleepers
~sleep from 7-5:30 then nurse and go back to sleep until we wake you for school or about 7:30 on the weekends
~have a 6 oz bottle every 3-4 hours, eat fruit and oatmeal for breakfast, two veggies for lunch (3-4 oz) and two veggies and a fruit for dinner (4-5) oz
~eat green beans, sweet potatoes, acorn squash, apples, and pears
~get mad at meal time, but once we put you in your high chair you start waving and flapping your arms, and wait impatiently with your mouth open, you are such a GREAT eater already 
~roll over from belly to back and back to belly
~still love your wubanub pacis
~love to jump in the jumper… we call you Jackaroo since you are jumping and bouncing all the time like a kangaroo
~have the sweetest smile and laugh
~you coo and talk all the time
~love to chew on your fingers and anything you can get in your mouth
~are very close to sitting all by yourself
~love, love, love bath time
~love when your sister plays, reads and talks to you
~know Mommy, Daddy and sisters voices and you look for us when we walk in the room

You are such a wonderful little boy, laid back and so full of happiness, you are joy to our family.  I love watching you do something new everyday.  My favorite part of the day is waking up to nurse you and at bed time, snuggle and rock you to bed with your bottle.  We love you bunches. xoxo

PS.  Your first tooth (on the bottom) finally came through on 4-4-12 and the second came through 4-13-12.

Disney Princesses on Ice

Today Sophia and I met up with Aunt Roxie, Presley and Roxie’s mom to take the girls to see Disney Princesses on Ice.  We had a such a great time with the girls.

Philly Trip

Over Spring Break, my mom and I took the kids to Philly!  Jack did great on his first plane ride and Sophia was an AWESOME big sister!  She just loved the planes!

Jack’s 4 Months Old

Jack’s 4 month stats:

~weight: 16lbs 5 oz – 75th percentile
~height: 27.5 in – 97th percentile
~head circumference: 43 cm – 75th percentile

You are so long, but Dr. P said you are perfect with a perfect head, big and round, but growing right on track.

Jack at 4 months you:

~wear size 2 diapers
~wear 3-6 month onesies and pants, but 9 month sleepers
~sleep from about 7:30-5:30, we are very blessed
~eat every 3-4 hours during the day, drink an 8 oz bottle with rice before bedtime, I am going to start rice next week during spring break, I think you are going to love it!
~still love your wubanub pacifiers and being swaddled at night to sleep
~love playing on the floor, listening to your sister sing and talk to you
~love sitting up and sucking on your hands (I think those two bottom teeth might start through soon)
~just started playing in the excersauser and you love grabbing and reaching for all the toys
~still love the swing and bouncy seat, especially since you figured out how to grab and hold toys
~love, love, love bath time, kicking and relaxing in the water, you just smile and laugh and coo the whole time
~rolled over for the first time from your belly to your back on 3-3-12!  YAY!!
~are a laid back and go with the flow kinda kid… I hope you stay that way!

We love you more and more everyday, it still amazes me how you learn something new everyday… you are the light of my life… Mommy, Daddy and sister love you to the moon and back!!

Grandma’s Birthday

This weekend we packed up, loaded up the car, and headed out to the lake to celebrate my mom’s birthday… and to just get away for the weekend.  We had a great time celebrating and relaxing.

Sick Babies

Well it was bound to happen sooner or later... We are 4 weeks into school and both kids are sick... Sophia has her second ear infection and Jack has a virus... Nasty cough with congestion and leaky eyes. No medicine for him except to help his eyes. He is such a little trooper... He's still just so HAPPY!! Here's hoping they are both better soon!!



And big boy weighed in at 15 lbs 10 oz!!! I am interested to see how big he is in 2 weeks for his 4 month check up!

I tried to get a pic of Sophia but she was just not into it this weekend!

3 Months Old

Jack at 3 months you:

-wear a size 1 diaper, but will very, very soon be in a 2

-wear size 3-6 month clothes and sometimes 6 month clothes

-weigh approximately 16 lbs

-eat every 4 hours during the day at 5:30, 9, 1, 5, 7:45 and then off to bed you go!  You only nurse first thing in the morning, which I am treasuring, and drink 6 oz bottles the rest of the day.   Your last bottle still has rice in it.

-you are a great sleeper, you love being swaddled at night

-still love your pacifier, but have recently started sucking and chewing on your hands

-smile ALL the time, talk and coo, and you just started laughing

-love sitting up and seeing everything that is going on around you

-started daycare on 1-25-12 and you (and me) are adjusting well, the ladies at school just love and adore you, which makes Mommy and Daddy very happy!

-hold your head up on your own, and just started sitting in your bumbo chair

-you love your big sister, especially when she sings and reads to you

You are just the sweetest, most laid back little baby!  You are my little snuggle bug and chunky monkey.   I love you to the moon and back! xoxoxo
