Thanksgiving at the lake

We headed out to the lake for Thanksgiving. Great Grandma Schroeder was here. Zach's parents and brother joined us too. We had a great time. Here are some pics from the long weekend.

11 Months

11 months... OMG... seriously 11 months... one more month til we are the parents of a one year old!

At 11 months you:

• are wearing mostly 12 month clothes and some 12-18 months clothes because you are so tall ( I think now that you are more upright that I should say tall rather than long)
• wear a size 3 shoe
• wear a size 3 diaper
• are a good, yet picky eater
• love pears, oranges, cantaloupe, cheese, chicken, pastas, potatoes, squash, breads (especially waffles, pancakes, french toast), yogurt bites, yogurts, cheerios, oatmeal cinnamon cookies, animal cookies, pretty much everything and anything sweet
• are talkative and loud like your mommy and grandma
• I think you have two words, Dah-da (for pretty much everything) and daw-ie (doggie)
• can tell Mommy and Daddy what you want with out talking, you point with one finger and what you want, smile, and wait (sometimes scream) AND when you want a snack (and the gate is open) you crawl into the kitchen, stand at the pantry door, and bang and talk until we come and open it up and give you some food (PRECIOUS)
  
• love going outside for walks with your walker
• toys that you can open and close, put things in, and your gate, yes your gate, you love going through it and opening and closing the door
• are so close to walking, you prefer to be standing and walking holding on to furniture to get around, and then you will take a few steps on your own to get to the next place
• PS. You still sleep great! 7-6 and two 2 hour naps
  

I truly am amazed by you everyday. You are sweet, loving, talkative, and incredibly personable. I can't believe everyday that you are mine. You teach me something new everyday... and I love you more and more each day. You are my greatest gift and my little angel that God blessed me with. I LOVE YOU!

This morning we got up early and met a friend from school to take our pictures for our Christmas card. She is starting a little side business for photography and cards. Saturday we headed to Longview with Matt and Charlzann to meet Bella Rae. We had a great time. Sophia napped the whole drive there and was on her best behavior when we met at the restaurant to meet Bella Rae and her mom. She even did great on the drive back. We had a lot of fun meeting Bella Rae and her mommy.

Sorry again that it has been so long, but all of the family, except Larry and Sophia, were hit with a stomach virus late in the weekend and early into the week... thank you Jeremy!! J/K but it did start with him at the lake this past weekend.
Sophia and I went out to the lake Thursday night with my mom and Larry and got up and headed out to Canton on Friday.... we had a blast. Jeremy, Roxie and Presley came out Friday night and stayed through the weekend. My parents have a great Halloween party and this year we joined them. Lots of pictures... ENJOY!
