Jack at 18 months you:

• wear size 5 diapers, size 2T and some 3T clothes, and a size 7 shoe
• sleep 12 hours at night and take a 2-3 hour afternoon nap
• love to play with balls, trucks, and cars
• love animals, especially ducks
• love to watch Bubble Guppies and play with Mr. Grouper, Nonny and Gil
• love to eat ALL the time
• still take a bottle at bedtime, but we are in the process of switching that to a sippee cup
• still love ALL your wubanub paci’s
• love taking a bath and blowing bubbles in the water
• love to read books and tell the animals and their sounds
• love being outside

Jack at one year old you:

• wear size 4 diapers
• 18-24 month clothes and a size 5 shoe
• sleep for 12 hours a night and take one good nap at school but 2 one and half hour naps on the weekends
• have about 4 6oz bottles of whole milk a day
• WALK everywhere you go (you are still getting used to shoes)
• LOVE being outside
• have about 3 words (out, dada, and occasionally mama, which is more like ma right now)
• may not have very many words, but you sure do LOVE to talk
• will walk to your high chair or the pantry when you want to eat
• and you LOVE to eat-EVERYTHING
• love the “snack” cup with goldfish, animal cookies or yogurt melts in it
• love being around mommy, daddy and sister
• love your teachers at school (you are moving up to the toddler room on 11-12-12- YIKES)
• love to throw balls and chase them
• love to play in the Cozy Coupe Car-you can get in and out and move yourself around the house
• love to push little cars
• smile at everyone when you see them and wave bye-bye
• are full of a laid back, happy little personality
• I still love our night time routine, our cuddle time… I hope that you are always my cuddly little guy

11 months

Jack at 11 months you

* wear a size 5 shoe (you're not quite sure what to do with shoes on)

* sleep from 6:30 to 6:30 and take a 2 hour nap at school but take 2 hour and half naps at home

* have about 3-4 bottle a day

* love to eat EVERYTHING

* have started saying the dreaded

* have taken 3-5 steps here and there

* love to play with anything you can open and close

* love to play with the play kitchen and Cozy Coupe car

* are a very happy, friendly, laid back, smiley baby (except for today's pics)

* love to observe and take in everything new around you

* love playing with your BIG sister

* are still a Momma's boy (which I hope never changes)

* LOVE ALL 12 of your wubanub pacifiers, you still snuggle with them all

* and of course my favorite time with you is our nightly snuggle time before bed

9 months!!!

Jack at 9 months you...

~weight: 22 lbs 5 oz - 75th percentile

~height: 31 in - 97th percentile

~Head circumference - 97th percentile

Discovering the paper at the doctors office

Wear a size 3 diaper

Wear 12-18 month clothes

Sleep from 7-7, take 2 hour and half naps and one 30-45 min cat nap

Have 4 6-8 oz bottles a day and have started on half formula and half breast milk bottles

Love to eat ALL finger foods... And get made when you can't feed yourself

Crawl super fast when you see something you want

Pull up on everything and are starting to try to stand alone

Love to follow your sister around and get into ALL her stuff

Are a cuddler with all your wubanub pacifiers and with your mommy when your super sleepy

Had your first surgery on 7-24-12 to have tubes in your ears to help you get better

Got your fourth tooth

Have a sweet side and a temper too, you love to talk and babble, have the best little giggle, and are the biggest FLIRT... You don't know a stranger :)

You truly complete our family and we all love you to the moon and back. Bunches, xoxo

8 months old

Jack at 8 months you:

-wear a size 3 diaper

-wear 12-18 month clothes

-sleep from 7-7 and take 2 hour and half naps

-sleep with at least 7-10 wubbanub pacifiers and you snuggle and hold onto them all... It's super cute

-love to eat.... Everything, especially foods that you can feed yourself.... You get really angry when you can't feed yourself

-had a lot of first foods... You are pretty much eating all table foods now... Even though you only have two teeth

-love to eat gerber puffs, yogurt bites, cheerios, pears, peaches, mandarin oranges, bananas, cheese, ham, green beans, French fries, chicken, carrots, and peas. (and almost anything else I give you)

-crawl on all fours everywhere

-pull up on everything, and think you should stand and walk

-have the most adorable little smile with your two bottom teeth... I sure hope you get more soon

-are a momma's boy, but you don't know a stranger right now... You love smiling at everyone

-love to be in the water... Especially when you can sit and crawl around

-have a bit of a temper when there is something you want but can't quite have (I think you get that from Uncle Bubba)

-dispite your temper, you are also very sweet and cuddly with an infectious giggle that makes everyone smile

-have discovered how loud you can be when you babble and you just LOVE to hear yourself

-adore your sister... Especially when she shares food with you... And when she gets in your crib and pack n play with you

-have the nickname, Jackaroo, Happy Jack or Jack Jack

-Mommy and Daddy love you more than the world is round!! Bunches xoxo

7 months!!!

Jack at 7 months you:

Weigh 20 lbs 9 oz

Still wear a size 3 diaper

Wear 6-12 month clothes and some 12-18 month sleepers

Sleep from 7-7 and take two 2 hour naps

Have a 6-8 oz bottle every 3-4 hours and nurse first thing in the morning

Eat breakfast, lunch and dinner... You still love all veggies and fruits. You just started eating teething biscuits and yogurt bites, which you're still not sure about

Love to play on the floor and scoot around... You're super close to crawling but not quite there yet

Think when you see Mommy that I should pick you up... You cry and get mad when I don't... It's frustratingly cute

Still LOVE your wubanub pacis... You scoop them all up when your sleeping to snuggle with :)

Love to jump like my little Jackaroo!!!

Love swimming in the pool... You just float around kicking and smiling

Have become quite the babbler... You talk all day long... It's just so precious!

My favorite is still our time before bed when we get to have our quiet Mommy and Jack snuggle time.

Jack's 6 months!

6 month stats:

Weight: 19 lbs ~ 75th percentile

Length: 28.5 inches ~ 90th percentile

Head circumference: ~ 90th percentile

Jack at 6 months you:

~ wear a size 3 diaper

~ wear 6-12 month clothes

~ have brownish/green eyes with a gray ring around them like Mommy

~ sleep from 7 to 5:30 and then go back to sleep until about 7

~ take at least 3 good naps during the day

~ still nurse first thing in the morning and have a 6 oz bottle every 3-4 hours

~ eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner

~ eat pears, apples, sweet potatoes, carrots and apples, green beans with rice, squash, avacado & peas and carrots

~ do not like bananas or mango

~ love to EAT!!!! You get so excited when you get in your high chair

~ love to sleep on your tummy with your cute little butt in the air

~ love your wubanub pacis

~ still love to jump in your jumper like a little kanga

~ sit all by yourself now

~ have started scooting around backwards when you are trying to crawl... You're close but still not there yet

~ play in your pack n play with big sister, who you just LOVE, but when you see Momma coming you start fussing for me to come get you!!

~ are a very happy little boy, who greets everyone with your two teeth smile, have the best little giggle, and you talk and babble all the time!

~are the best little snuggle bug! Mommy still loves to nurse you every morning and give you your bottle at night... It's our Mommy and Jack time!!

5 months!

Jack at 5 months you:

~wear a size 2 diaper, 6-12 month clothes, and 9 month sleepers
~sleep from 7-5:30 then nurse and go back to sleep until we wake you for school or about 7:30 on the weekends
~have a 6 oz bottle every 3-4 hours, eat fruit and oatmeal for breakfast, two veggies for lunch (3-4 oz) and two veggies and a fruit for dinner (4-5) oz
~eat green beans, sweet potatoes, acorn squash, apples, and pears
~get mad at meal time, but once we put you in your high chair you start waving and flapping your arms, and wait impatiently with your mouth open, you are such a GREAT eater already 
~roll over from belly to back and back to belly
~still love your wubanub pacis
~love to jump in the jumper… we call you Jackaroo since you are jumping and bouncing all the time like a kangaroo
~have the sweetest smile and laugh
~you coo and talk all the time
~love to chew on your fingers and anything you can get in your mouth
~are very close to sitting all by yourself
~love, love, love bath time
~love when your sister plays, reads and talks to you
~know Mommy, Daddy and sisters voices and you look for us when we walk in the room

You are such a wonderful little boy, laid back and so full of happiness, you are joy to our family.  I love watching you do something new everyday.  My favorite part of the day is waking up to nurse you and at bed time, snuggle and rock you to bed with your bottle.  We love you bunches. xoxo

PS.  Your first tooth (on the bottom) finally came through on 4-4-12 and the second came through 4-13-12.

Jack’s 4 Months Old

Jack’s 4 month stats:

~weight: 16lbs 5 oz – 75th percentile
~height: 27.5 in – 97th percentile
~head circumference: 43 cm – 75th percentile

You are so long, but Dr. P said you are perfect with a perfect head, big and round, but growing right on track.

Jack at 4 months you:

~wear size 2 diapers
~wear 3-6 month onesies and pants, but 9 month sleepers
~sleep from about 7:30-5:30, we are very blessed
~eat every 3-4 hours during the day, drink an 8 oz bottle with rice before bedtime, I am going to start rice next week during spring break, I think you are going to love it!
~still love your wubanub pacifiers and being swaddled at night to sleep
~love playing on the floor, listening to your sister sing and talk to you
~love sitting up and sucking on your hands (I think those two bottom teeth might start through soon)
~just started playing in the excersauser and you love grabbing and reaching for all the toys
~still love the swing and bouncy seat, especially since you figured out how to grab and hold toys
~love, love, love bath time, kicking and relaxing in the water, you just smile and laugh and coo the whole time
~rolled over for the first time from your belly to your back on 3-3-12!  YAY!!
~are a laid back and go with the flow kinda kid… I hope you stay that way!

We love you more and more everyday, it still amazes me how you learn something new everyday… you are the light of my life… Mommy, Daddy and sister love you to the moon and back!!

3 Months Old

Jack at 3 months you:

-wear a size 1 diaper, but will very, very soon be in a 2

-wear size 3-6 month clothes and sometimes 6 month clothes

-weigh approximately 16 lbs

-eat every 4 hours during the day at 5:30, 9, 1, 5, 7:45 and then off to bed you go!  You only nurse first thing in the morning, which I am treasuring, and drink 6 oz bottles the rest of the day.   Your last bottle still has rice in it.

-you are a great sleeper, you love being swaddled at night

-still love your pacifier, but have recently started sucking and chewing on your hands

-smile ALL the time, talk and coo, and you just started laughing

-love sitting up and seeing everything that is going on around you

-started daycare on 1-25-12 and you (and me) are adjusting well, the ladies at school just love and adore you, which makes Mommy and Daddy very happy!

-hold your head up on your own, and just started sitting in your bumbo chair

-you love your big sister, especially when she sings and reads to you

You are just the sweetest, most laid back little baby!  You are my little snuggle bug and chunky monkey.   I love you to the moon and back! xoxoxo

2 Month Stats

 

Weight: 13 lbs 9 oz – 90th percentile

Height: 24.5 in – 90th percentile

Big Boy is 2 Months Old

Jack at 2 months you:

-are still wearing a size one diaper

-are wearing some 0-3 month clothes, but mostly 3-6 month clothes

-love your pacifiers… thank goodness we discovered the Wubanub!!

-are nursing anywhere from 3-4 hours during the day and take a 5-6 oz bottle at 10:30 with rice and give mommy and daddy some sleep at night, buy sleeping from 11-5!!

-are smiling and cooing all the time… you have the sweetest gummy smile

-recognize Mommy, Daddy, and big Sister Sophia’s voice

-love when sister sings to you

-when you hear us, you search the room for us and smile when you see us

-hold your head up really well

-tolerate tummy time when placed on your boppy pillow

-love the lamb swing, bouncy chair and play mat

You are only two months old, but I couldn’t imagine life without you already.  You and your sister are the light of my life… I love you more than the world is round.  Bunches xoxo

One Month Old

Jack at one month you:

-are eating every 3 hours during the day, 5 hours at night

-sleep from 11-4 at night (well most nights)

-wear size 1 diapers, 0-3 month clothes, but you are close to needing 3-6 month clothes because you are so long

-love your pacifier, you would be a thumb sucker by now if we let you

-are a noisy baby… you are always making little noises and sounds, whether you are awake or asleep

-love being swaddled in your swaddle blanket

-love being held tight and rocked

-are starting to loose your hair… hopefully you don’t loose it all

-have eyes that are a still a gray-blue color… I am hoping that you will get my eye color

-have great head control already, you can move it from side to side

-hate having a wet or dirty diaper, you definitely let us know when you need to be changed, and you almost always have a dirty diaper, which is very different from your sister

Most of all we, Mommy, Daddy, and big sister, Sophia, are loving every minute of you being in our lives.  Its hard to believe that a month ago you were still not here yet, and now I can’t imagine you not being part of our family.  We are truly blessed to have you as our son.  We love you more than the world is round.
