I Love My Babies

So I put Jack in his crib to get Sophia ready for bed.  I head to her room and call for her… she doesn’t come or answer… I head back into Jack’s room and here is what I find….

She then says, “Mommy he’s happy now… I love my little brother!”

Doesn’t that just melt your heart?

On a side note I go back to work on Wednesday and the kids start at their new school that day too… Whistle Stop Station.  We have been up there a couple of times for Sophia to meet her teacher and kids in her class.  I am really happy with the new school, nervous about starting them there, and going back to work.  It will be a lot of new transitions and changes, but I know that they will be well taken care of and it will all be ok… as long as I keep preparing myself, it will all go smoothly… please keep us in your thoughts and prayers this week.

Guess What??

Little boy has a tooth that broke through on the bottom right!!! It's just barely there, with the second one on the bottom left peeking through as well!! I can't believe he has a tooth. He got his first tooth about a week and a half before Sophia got hers! My baby is getting too big too fast!

Sweet Babies

7 hours!

I just wanted to note for myself that my baby boy slept from 10:15 pm to 5:00 am! He gets a 5.5-6 oz bottle with rice in it at 10-10:30 but last night he was ready to eat at 9:45 and was asleep at 10:15!! Let's hope he keeps this up since I go back to work in 2 weeks!! - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Singing Songs

This morning Sophia was just singing to Jack and he was just loving listening to her sing away.  She sang a lot to him when he was in my belly.  He just seems to already adore his big sister just as much as she loves him!

 

Doing a Little Dance

Sophia and Zach doing a little tap dancing.  She just loves getting dressed up and playing music on the tv to dance to.  She finally fits into the tap shoes that Grandma got her a long time ago!

Weight: 13 lbs 9 oz – 90th percentile

Height: 24.5 in – 90th percentile

Big Boy is 2 Months Old

Jack at 2 months you:

-are still wearing a size one diaper

-are wearing some 0-3 month clothes, but mostly 3-6 month clothes

-love your pacifiers… thank goodness we discovered the Wubanub!!

-are nursing anywhere from 3-4 hours during the day and take a 5-6 oz bottle at 10:30 with rice and give mommy and daddy some sleep at night, buy sleeping from 11-5!!

-are smiling and cooing all the time… you have the sweetest gummy smile

-recognize Mommy, Daddy, and big Sister Sophia’s voice

-love when sister sings to you

-when you hear us, you search the room for us and smile when you see us

-hold your head up really well

-tolerate tummy time when placed on your boppy pillow

-love the lamb swing, bouncy chair and play mat

You are only two months old, but I couldn’t imagine life without you already.  You and your sister are the light of my life… I love you more than the world is round.  Bunches xoxo

Happy New Year 2012

This year was a bit different.  We were out at the lake to celebrate Christmas with my brother and Audray.  We got dressed and headed to the neighbor’s with my parents, brother and Audray, and the two little ones.  We hung out there for a while, til about 10:30, then headed back to my parents to feed Jack, put Sophia in her pj’s and ring in the new year.  I fed Jack one more time and we were asleep by 12:30!
