Sophia had her 12 month appointment and shots. We decided to go ahead with the H1N1 vaccine shots as well. We go back in a month for the second shot and then again in March for her 15 month check up.
At 12 months Sophia your:
- weight is 19 lbs 6 oz -25th percentile
- height is 30.5 inches -95th percentile
- head circumference is in the 75th percentile
The doctor also told us that she is growing perfectly, and she is ready to make the switch to whole milk.

I am also going to try to start weaning her off of her bottles. I am going to continue with the first morning bottle and her bedtime bottle. After trying to give S whole milk today which was not a success, I think we are going to try 1 part whole milk, 3 parts formula, then half and half until switching to all whole milk. I am hoping that this will help with the transition for my little one since today she was not a huge fan of plain whole milk. Anyone with suggestions on how they switched their little one to whole milk and off the bottle is very much welcomed!
