Best moment this week: Sunday, at the lake, I was floating in the pool and I was super relaxed… Jack was moving all over the place… I forgot how much I missed that feeling. Also this week Sophia has been LOVING on my belly with hugs and kisses whenever she can. She also realized that my belly is good place to rest her head.
Flowers, Painting, and Rangers
Sophia and Zach planted some pretty purple flowers in the pots outback
After her nap she woke up and helped us paint the baby’s room… she had so much fun painting…. we still have stripes to add to his room yet.
And later that night we went to the Rangers game with Grandma and Grandpa. We even participated in a Guinness Book of World Records for most people wearing sunglasses at night. She was such a good girl! She stayed for 10 innings… I think that Mommy and Grandma were more tired than she was on the way home.

Bass and more fun at the Lake
Sophia’s bass she caught with Daddy… she did have a little help reeling it in.
releasing the BIG fish
and ready to catch more… for at least a couple of minutes
My big girl swimming… she was becoming quite the little independent swimmer with her float, she kept saying swim, paddle like a dog… then all she wanted to do was jump off the edge… she is going to be quite the little fish this summer.

2 1/2 years old
Oh my goodness my sweet little baby girl is now 2 1/2 years old. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was having her. She is no longer a baby, as she tells me, she is a big girl. She amazes me everyday. I love every minute that I get to spend with her. She is so much fun to be around, always happy, loving and full of energy with a beautiful, little blossoming personality.

It’s a…….
BOY!!!!!!
We are so thrilled that Baby #2 is a boy.
We went to the doctor yesterday afternoon with Sophia, my mom, and Zach’s mom. They were just thrilled to be seeing the sonogram. The technician checked out every little part of the baby. Everything checked out just perfect. His, so exciting to say, heartbeat was 158 bpm. After all little parts were checked it was time for the big reveal…. and it was definitely obvious the baby is a boy. We all screamed, “YAY!!! IT’S A BOY!!!”

Sophia then said, “Oh no, Mommy, I wanted a gurl!!” She was quite close to crying, but once we told her she could dress him and play with him, she was great! Zach even has her calling the baby “Spiderman.” I must say we are ALL very excited… Next step is picking out his name….. and of course getting his room ready. I am excited about decorating for a boy.
