This year of course we went out to the lake for the 4th for my parents party they have every year, and this was the first time in 11 years that Larry wasn’t able to do fireworks due to the dry, dry heat we are having this year. But we had quite the crowd this year. My brother and Audray, we had family from Illinois in town, my cousins and their two kids, and Jeremy, Roxie and sweet Presley. There was lots of eating, playing and swimming and turtle hunts. All the kids were great. Instead of fireworks the kids played with glow-sticks… not nearly as much fun as fireworks, but they still had a blast.
